One year olds… they fly, right? Most are finding their feet and ever so clumsy. It is comical yet joyful to watch. Gosh, don’t babies bring so much joy? This summer session was defiantly full of moving but those in between moments we captured are a sure treasure. Miss Ellie bean is so beautiful and I just love her curiosity. Mom was expecting a little sister that I just photographed a few weeks ago. I loved that we incorporate the grandparents, dad’s plane and grandma’s old truck. This session was just fabulous!
Another share from last fall. This 4 year old was hard to crack but once he let me in we were besties! We has quite the array of expressions which I absolutely love. The fall colors were peak and the orchard was dripping with golden light and those yummy apples. Enjoy!
This session was so meaningful for them. We decided to go to a beach location in Kenosha this past summer. Lighthouses have great meaning for this family so this was the perfect location. It was a nice cool and calm summer day. I did a wall display of some favorites in their home too. I will have to post a photo soon. Enjoy!
Family time… What does that mean to you? To me it means being surrounded by the people you love. Families come in all shapes and sizes. Your family will be there no matter what. The good times and hard times. Watching this family grow from one baby to three has been a joy. I always say this but I am so incredibly lucky to be on the journey with all the people that step in front of my lens. I am so so thankful. It took me along time to accept my profession as a “valuable” one. I always wonder if I should be doing something else. But right now this feels like it is where I need to be. My heart and soul is in my work.
I feel strange posting this session when it is sooooo cold outside. I am dreaming of warmer days ahead. I have actually had 2 sessions in the past week outside in this crazy weather! I am just embracing it, lol!
This family kept it super simple with the clothing and it worked perfectly. The focus is totally on mom dad and little Miss Hazel. She’s two and a super busy little lady. We weren’t in the same place for long and her personality sure does shine. I love all the variety captured.
