736 Days

Seven Hundred Thirty Six Days. Wow! Just a hair over two years old. It does’t really seem like that many days but how much has changed in those days is so vast. Gavin is growing like a weed a was talking up a storm. I love experiencing these unique little personalities of all my baby clients as I continue to capture them each year. He did like to tell me “No” a lot but most 2 year olds do. My nephew tells me “No” even when he means “Yes”.

I love to color collage but I had to do the black and white look too. That one really sums up the curiosity and the wildness of a two year old.

May a Time for Growth

I enjoyed photographing this family and their one year old boy a few weeks ago. I just love May. It really is a time where things come alive outside again from our long winter season here in Wisconsin. The bridal wreath are one of my favorite flowering spring bushes too. They only seem to last just shy of 2 weeks so I am always excited when I can capture them in the background of some of my images.  This adorable family has a active baby on their hands. He started walking at 10 months so you can only image how quickly he is moving now. A fast shutter speed is a must. Enjoy!

Spring is Here

Yes! Spring is finally here. I look forward to this bloosoming tree on the farm every year. This mamma and baby couldn’t look any more perfect in this setting. Capturing relationships is one of my favorite things to focus on!

Time Keeper

1/200th of a second is what I captured. A split moment in time that is a record of the “now”.

This guy stole my heart today. He was perfect. He loved his mommas noises and both of our silliness. That nearly toothless mouth will become full and the swimming and wiggling on his belly with soon be of the past. I am so lucky to capture these fleeing moments and characteristics that seem to be here and gone in a blink of an eye.

I am a time keeper. I record those hundredth of a seconds in time that will be treasured for much much longer than I even know.  How will you remember your 1/200th of seconds in time?magdelenas042415

Field of Littles

I have been photographing these two littles since birth. Really an honor for me. Digging into my busy 2014 realizing there is so much to share. I am not sure if I’ll get caught up before I start rocking and rolling again this year but I am trying. There is just not enough hours in the day like we all know. Anyways it was the littlest ones first birthday and family shoot. I just love how big sis is admiring her little sister.
