Change

I set out upon 2020 with some big ideas and goals for myself and business. The plan was to pursue them during the slower March and April months and work really hard behind the scenes. Then BOOM life went in a completely different direction and my business came to a complete stand still and I became a 100% stay at home mom. With two littles under three I don’t think I have completely processed just how crazy this time is nor did I put any good solid work into my goals personally or professionally. I was hard on myself for a second and just knew there was no time for pity for the sake of my mental health. The unknown of the future of the way of life is all scary for us but we must keep our head above the water. Goodness and love will never leave. Somedays it seems harder to find but my friends it is your choice to see it, show it and accept it.

I photographed this family since their first born was days old. It truly brings me so much joy to have been a part of their memory making for all these years.

My hope now for 2020 is to pedal through the stormy waters along with many other small businesses, be thankful for what comes my way and work like hell to continue to pursue my passion.
